SEMMARIS, a semi-public company with partners from the public and private sectors, is the entity responsible for the construction and operation of the national wholesale market – Paris-Rungis. SEMMARIS’s primary role is to develop and operate the market by designing the infrastructure and coordinating the works, through to the maintenance and repair of equipment and installations, and finally to the provision of water, electricity, waste management and disposal services, heating, etc. From 2015 to 2025, the company plans to invest 510 million Euros in this market.
