GREAT was planning for a second five-year phase of the Program with the first phase due to end in June 2022. PEAPROS Consulting, in association with the Information Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (AGROINFO), support GREAT to undertake Gendered Market Analysis of Key Agricultural Sectors that the Program will focus on in the second phase, including: vegetables, cinnamon, ramie, bamboo shoot, benzoin, and medicinal plants. The objectives of the assignment are to: i) understand the market outlook and dynamics for each sector and the key constraints facing women and men; and ii) identify the key intervention areas in each sector that will provide the best return on investment.
PEAPROS Consulting provides the services of: - Co-delivering the assignment, with specific tasks to include: o Co-leading sub-sector selection o Co-leading collection/ review of secondary data/ literature o Co-leading design of the research protocol o Leading primary data collection (e.g. interviews) in Vietnam o Co-leading analysis of findings o Co-leading report writing o Co-leading writing and delivering presentations/ workshops o Other tasks as applicable, agreed through the course of the assignment - Sourcing other Vietnam-based personnel/ expertise as required. - Participating in internal and external meetings, time zones permitting - Flagging any issues / challenges early and working together towards solutions
"The objectives of the Mission are to: (1) Conduct a quick review of the 2022 Supervision Mission’s recommendations related to: (i) sub-component 2.2 - Common Interest Group (CIG) for climate adaptation (for Bac Kan) and (ii) sub-component 2.1- Common Interest Groups to adapt to climate change (for Cao Bang). (2) provide hands-on support to CSSP Cao Bang and Bac Kan to implement recommendations; (3) identify any issues affecting project implementation and formulate remedial actions.
CSSP’s Goal is to contribute to sustainable poverty reduction in Bac Kan and Cao Bang (end target: 25% reduction in the multi-dimensional poverty rate for 16,000 households considered poor and near poor in project area
Evaluate the results of project interventions to ensure that the expected outputs and outcomes have been achieved. The objectives of the evaluation include: - Measure overall progress made towards achieving key outputs and outcomes of the support packages for SGBs. - Determine the relevance of IPSC’s technical assistance approach to SGBs’ priority needs, identified capacity gaps, and preferences to ensure IPSC support delivery meets SGBs’ demand. - Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of support packages, including coordination mechanisms and collaboration between the objective team and consultants, guest speakers, and subject matter experts. - Assess the extent to which key outputs and outcomes of the support packages are contributing to the achievement of IPSC’s outcomes. - Determine the extent to which the support packages are generating changes and initial impacts for participating SGBs. Complete a thematic evaluation report for each Support Package and an Annual Support Package Evaluation Report for IPSC, outlining recommendations on the project’s TOC, results framework, and major interventions.
Provide consultancy services to the i2i Communication, Ltd. to carry out the ex-post evaluation of the JICA-assisted project, namely “Hanoi-HCMC Railway Line Bridges Safety Improvement Project (I)(II)(III)” (Loan Agreement No. VNXI-8, VNXIV-8, and VN12-P3) (ODA Loan)
